Corner and Bay Windows
Illustrated are three typical corner window contructions. Bay window is illustrated, bottom right.

An outside mount is the most common type of installation. Inside or ceiling mount may also be used.
How to Measure
• Measure for each blind individually.

• The width of the center blind of a bay window is obtained by measuring from corner to corner as illustrated in Fig. 1.

• Subtract the appropriate deduction shown in the Deduction Chart.

• The widths of the side blinds are obtained by measuring from the inside corner to the outside corner of the bay window as illustrated.

• Subtract the appropriate deduction found in the Deduction Chart.

• Order each blind individually as a standard blind.

• When ordering a valance, specify if a hinged valance adapter is desired. Specify continuous material for valance insert.

Deduction Chart

• The bay window angle can be determined by copying the angle with a template made of 2 business cards.

• Compare the angle of this template with the protractor shown below. Fig. 3

• Subtract the appropriate deduction from each blind as shown in the chart.

• Deductions are based on using standard 3-1/2" outside mount wall brackets.
